Well, the tooth is out! I feel like I was hit in the face by a baseball bat, but everything went well. I was told I am a tough cookie by Dr Smith. He numbed me BIG time, from like my eye to my chin. After he numbed me up he took the tooth out. I was told I have a very small mouth, so that's why I am so sore from him having to pry my mouth open and pushing on my jaw. The tooth cracked when he started to remove it so things took a little longer than expected but he got it. I left with gauze tucked in my mouth, an ice pack, prescription for antibiotics and after care instructions. So praise The Lord it did go well and like they are expecting it would. After coming home, my face is a little swollen , didn't know my cheeks could get any puffier than they are already :) I had to call back to office because my mouth started really bleeding a lot... So that's not cool. I'm packed with gauze and ice pack and just taking it easy. This was a pain but overall one of the easier things we've had done. The next few days will include mushy foods and ice packs while the "hole" in my mouth slowly clots and heals. I'm also on an antibiotic for five days in hopes of no infections happening. Next up... Blood work & infusion! Thanks for the prayers!
I have also begun all the paper work to continue to establish permanent disability with TRS and also filing out paper work for my new insurance - please pray that these transitions go smoothly over the next few weeks. It's LOTS of information and papers!
