Drug Challenge
Today I woke up and went nice and early to allergy where we were doing a drug challenge for anti inflammatories. I am severely allergic to them but all my doctors and I have been curious if my reaction was an actual reaction or if it was hightened bc of the onset of RA a few years ago. Well... The office dilutes a medicine - we did naproxen, and every 30min you are given a dose and then you watch, wait and see what happens... I failed. In just round three i got super dizzy, throat got tight and it itchy- challenge over. I am still very allergic to nonsteroidal anti inflammatories - BIG BUMMER!
